We asked our users around the world the same question: “How often would you say you really have fun and have a good time?” So, who were the big winners? And the sore losers?
It seems like Argentinians and Mexicans are the world champions of having fun. They top the global fun rankings, while Poles and Russians rank last by some margin, with neither admitting to having much fun at all (this, we find hard to believe!) Hmm, does a warm climate, great beaches and speaking Spanish help you have more fun?
It seems that it does. The Spanish top the European fun rankings (no surprise for a country that parties by throwing tomatoes at each other), while Spain also emerges as the world’s largest exporter of fun, in the sense that countries of Spanish heritage bag three of the top four spots in the world rankings.
The Americans place a respectable 6th place, ahead of the Brits in 8th position. But it seems that even the stiff upper lip of the English is more prone to letting loose than the Brazilians, coming in a dismal 10th. Whatever happened to the famous carnival spirit?
